Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I recently submitted my resignation to my current employer, giving three weeks notice. My supervisor at my current employer called my future employer to talk about me, my career choice, end date and transition without my knowledge or consent. This is obviously unprofessional, but is it illegal?

Absent a contract stating otherwise, and assuming they are not lying and committing slander or making outrageous statements to interfere, you cannot stop them from speaking any more than they can stop you from speaking or posting on a website. Your best option is probably to just try to move on. Your future employer will take notice of any threats of legal action or similar conduct against te former employer.
