Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I was a salaried employee, A on site manager for a temp service. I submitted my 2 week notice on a thursday stating I would work to help train a replacement for the next two weeks. I was told to not come back and turn company property into the branch office. Are they supposed to pay me the two weeks for the notice I gave?

Quitting is quitting, right then and there. Employees don't resign, then dictate the terms or the schedule (absent a contract). Similarly, the employer could not force you to work for two more weeks. Working after that minute is simply an agreement and courtesy that both parties must agree on. There are many reasons some employers do not want employees around after the resign.
