Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

salary dispute

Personal trainer hired by co. to teach classes around the city. Signed contract that did not state payment amount: there was an oral stipulation of per class payment rate. Co. did not pay this week, saying they just realized that they were overpaying since Apr. Trainer never noticed. Co. now says she owes them money. What is trainer's position/any liability for co.'s mistake?

Re: salary dispute

Your post is less than clear in stating the relevant facts. However, if there was an overpayment, the easy solution is for "Trainer" to accept the amount agreed upon rather than taking advantage of a mistake. Would "trainer" let it go had the mistake been the other way, and the paycheck was less than agreed upon?
