Salary workers
I am a single mom with only a day time sitter. Can my employer fire me if I do not attend a company meeting ''after company hours'' ?

Re: Salary workers
Unless you have a contract that states that you do not have to attend meetings after hours (or something to that effect), then, yes. You can be fired for no reason or any non-discriminatory reason.
