Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
I'm in a situation where I went from being a SALARIED employee of an agency meeting a quota of 40 hours per week to being OFFERED a contractual job with the same agency. I now receive less than 10 hours PER WEEK making a higher wage per hour. I signed an agreement to take this job for under the impression that I would make the equivalent amount of hours I originally made and I don't. So, is there a law about this matter?

Do you have a contract that says you are guaranteed any hours at all, or a minimum? There are no general laws to protect you from making decisions like that. Your protection was negotiating a contract with those terms.
