Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I am a teleworker for about 5 months. Now, my manger would like to have me return to work because I used a certain tool for checking my work causing my production numbers to increase. I never knew that this does that. He wanted me to return to work Mon., Sept 28 after the meeting that was held with him on Tues, Sept. 22. Human resourses said that I could work out the timing of when to come back to work with him and I agreed to November or December. This would give me time to get a reliable means of transportation. He gave me until Mon, Oct 12. Now he saying that if I do not return on Monday, that I would have abandoned my job and will accept this as my resignation. What do I do?

I am not sure of your legal issue. Your employer has told you what they expect of you and the consequences of not doing it. You don't reference any contract that requires them to let you work at home, so presumably you are an "at will" employee who can be terminated.
