Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

no time off

My son is a pilot and has taken a job at a medical type

charter service. He was promised that he would be on call

24 hours a day 5 out of 7 days.(He would have 2 days off

that he would not be called to work.) He has worked 2 months

and only had 3 days off each month. Because he must report to work within 30 minutes of a phone call, he cannot do basic chores such as go to the dentist, have his car serviced, etc. He is afraid if he talks to the boss he will be fired, because so many pilots would like his job. He also

does not get paid any extra for days on call or working. He is paid a flat salary.

Shot of quiting and looking for a better job, what do you

suggest?

Re: no time off

Your question is not a legal one, but an occupational one. If he doesn't like the terms of the job, he will need to find another one.
