Is it true in the state of GA that, even if you are hired into an hourly position with full-time hours, your hours can be cut with or without reason or explanation to you?

Employees can be terminated on the spot, for any or no reason (with few exceptions for such things as unlawful discrimination). Th employer sets hours and schedules as they deem necessary, without having to get the approval of employees.
