unauthorized pay deductions
the Atlanta GA. location of a bakery distrubition company has started duducting the total cost of products from the pay checks of their sales force. If it is a stock item but
not selling as hoped. without notice sales people were given
payroll deduction notices. In many cases the sales people
have no control over the number of cases purchased by the
purchasing deparment, however the cost is being taken from
checks, hundeders of dollars.The salesgroup is base +comm.
None of the other employee of any other department are being
penalized.

Look to your employment agreement for the terms of your employment. You didn't include a specific question, but I assume you are asking if this is proper.
