My Vehicle broke down and I had to call in to work. Can my boss demand to see the tow billand work order for the repairs done?

Sure your boss can ask - why would you think otherwise? Would termination for missing work, with no opportunity to explain, be a better option? You then have the choice of whether or not to provide it, and risk the consequences. Ther is no legal "right" or entitlement to a job where your employer has to take your word for everything.
