Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I am a waitress in GA. Recently my employers accountant has admitted to under paying me after much effort on my part of trying to get this issue resolved. They have changed my pay on the same pay rate scale (not because of tips not making pay equal to minimun wage) without notice since March or before. Now they are giving me a check for some of the deliquent amount with a pay stub stating a regular week pay period's date and it isn't itemized. Plus the hours don't add up and there was no overtime included even though it was worked. What are the GA laws concerning back payment? They also have cut back my overtime from $10.88 to $3.75 without notice. What is overtime pay for a waitress suposed to be (does "regular pay" rate in the laws mean minimun wage plus time and a half)? Where can I find a attorney who will work off of commision on a case such as this one, with all documention supplied?

No one here can help you (at least, on this website) figure out what you are owed. Your best option is the GA Department of Labor as they may help you resolve it for free by putting pressure on the employer. I am not sure what you meant by a lawyer working "off commission," but if you meant a contingency (a percentage of the recovery), then realistically you'd probably have to recover a significant amount of money to make it worth the time. It also looks like you probably need to look for a better job if you are not doing so already.
