Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I work for bilo, a company that was well aware that it was against company policy for me to work for my father as my superior, yet they let me do it for four years, up until a fellow employee was fired, and emailed human resources telling them of my employment costing me my job, which was none of his business. I did my job well. I feel I was done wrong,they neglected to follow company policy until they were on the chopping block and mcdonalds wouldn't hire me based on me being tall and big even though I have never had back problems.
