Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
I worked for the Federal Government and my supervisor called me on a Saturday on my personal cell phone from her personal cell phone and informed me that my last day was the day before. We spent several hours together the day before and she made no mention of my termination. The week before she informed me that the letter I received in the mail from the Atlanta Office extending my time was incorrect on my extention date instead of October 10, 2009, it should have said October 22, 2009. She did the termination on August 22, 2009. Can she legally do this?

Most employment is at will, and an employee can be terminated for any or not reason (with few exceptions for discrimination), and with no notice, unless a contract states otherwise. There is no general right to a job. You mention letters, extensions, etc, but no one here has those. I am not sure why you thought it important to describe the phones.
