Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
Worked but not paid
I signed a contract to subcontract a movie theatre for 1600.00 a month I worked one day short of that month. I was suppose to be paid on the First of April and the employer refuses to pay me for my work. Do I have a case even though she never gave me a copy of the contract? I have several witnesses that know and actually worked with me for those 29 days.

Re: Worked but not paid
Having a copy of the contract is not all that important to any potential case. If you sue for the money, you should be able to get a copy of the contract. Of course, the strength of your case depends on the terms of the contract.
