Does my 60 day written notice to terminate my lease have to be signed or does an emailed copy suffice?

To be on safe side, send it US CERT MAIL R&R
This will cover you the 60 days from 11/01/2014 through 12/31/2014 and you can vacate 12/31/2014//01/01/2015
