Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I need some Advice

I recieved a dispossary for late rent for the month of July on the 16th of that current month. Only my name was listed even though I have a roomate and nothing else was filled in. We went to court on 8/02/07. Judge dismissed because they did not show up. Landlord re-filed dispossary on same day for July's rent and added August's rent to that. I paid July's rent the day before we went to court on 8/20/07. Judge was in favor of landlord. Is this leagal? Can a dispossary be issued before the month is over for late rent? Can two be issued for the same thing within a thirty day period?

You indicated that the Judge ruled in favor of the landlord, presumably after hearing both sides. That can't be second-guessed on a forum like this, by people who were not there and know nothing about the case.
