Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
Re: Commercial Lease
my business is located inside another business, which is owned by my landlord. i have a 5 year lease which is up next spring. the rent is calculated based on the amount of money i bring in.
because of a lawsuit between my brother and my landlord which has nothing to do with me or my business, the landlord has done some unethical things that have affected my business (ie take down our sign off the marquis, providing the same product to our customers that my business used to provide, etc). this coupled with the economy has doomed my business. realizing i needed to communicate this to the landlord, i requested we meet. she refuses. we have been communicating through the manager, who says the landlord expects me to stay for the remaining 7 months, even though i cannot afford to do so.
it's obvious to me, she is doing this on purpose as "revenge" for the legal issues she had with my brother. what legal recourse do i have?

No one here knows the terms of the lease or contracts, and you did not even mention any terms. The other details mean nothing without knowing what each side's obligations are.
Consult with a local attorney. If she is in violatin of her obligations under the lease (which needs to be carefully reviewed), legal action can be taken against her.
