Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
WHat is considered inhabitable
I am currently renting a house with my disabled sister and 72 yr old asthmatic mother. We have been having problems getting our landlord to fix the hvac unit. Now we are hitting muggy 90 degree weather and the unit just stopped working. The landlord now is being nasty stating we are never satisfied when this has been our one & only gripe, other than the gnats in the bathroom and plumbing problems.

You do not state what your lease states with respect to the AC. Not having AC does not normally make a house uninhabitable - obviously many homes do not have AC. If the lease states the landlord is to provide AC, you might have an issue there. Read it.
