Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Co-Tenant Vacated without Notice

I'm the landlord of a apartment complex and currently have a lease with 2 tenants as roommates in one of the units. Recently one of the tenants left without giving notice, however, the other tenant is the one that has been paying the rent. The tenant that is still in the unit changed the locks, since there was conflicts between the two of them. Is there any documents that I need to send and possibly get signed to eliminate the tenant who left from being removed from the lease?

Re: Co-Tenant Vacated without Notice

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but you should have a lease agreement with both tenants and, ideally, the remaining tenant would be liable to pay full rent regardless of the other tenant leaving. I'm not sure what you mean by "eliminate" the other tenant.
