Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
I had a dispossessory warrant filed against me today (7/24/14). Because of some personal issues, I know that I will not be able to pay rent and I am preparing to move, which I know will be a violation of my lease and negatively effect my credit. Last week, I was laid off from my job. I will be receiving severance pay until 8/23/2014 and then I expect to receive unemployment until I find a job. What kind of ruling should I expect from the judge.

Based on your post, you can expect the Judge to enter a writ of possession and you also will likely have a judgment for rent and other lease damages.
