Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
Entered into a short-term (2 week) rental agreement that does not commence until July 30th. Owner/Landlord has entered into a sales contract to sell the property and buyer does not want to purchase subject to the short term lease. what rights does owner/landlord have to terminate the short-term rental agreement with the tenant prior to commencement (4 months before commencement of two-week rental agreement)?

It all starts with the contract, which we don't have and you did not mention (as far as content). Otherwise, you can ask for a refund of anything paid and some amount above that for the "trouble." I doubt it is something to make a big deal about - get a refund, find a new place and move on.
It depends on the language of the rental agreement. Is there a way to properly terminated or does it automatically terminate somehow? If not, the new owner would simply take over as the landlord and be subject to the agreement.
