Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Father failed to notify Landlord

My son's roommates' father leased an apartment for the 3 guys. My son is only listed as resident. If father failed to give notice of intent to vacate, is my son responsible?

Re: Father failed to notify Landlord

The terms of the lease will determine who is responsible, but most likely your son is severally and jointly liable as are the other two tenants. Your son might then have a claim against the father if he was responsible for providing notice.
