Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
Hi,
I signed a leased in August for a year... My landlord told me in Nov that he was putting the unit on the market for short sale. If it sales before my lease is up, will I have to move out? Or is my lease honored? Also, what rights do I have in regards to showing the unit? Because, the realtor says that he can have anyone come in at any time. I'm also still paying full rent, should I continue to pay the full amount even though I have to go out of my way to show the place?
Thanks for your time,
Travis

It depends on what your lease says. Consult with a local attorney. The entire lease needs to be reviewed.
