Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Home I rent being foreclosed on

My landlord has been receiving foreclosure post cards at my address. I asked him if my home is being foreclosed on and he said ''no that is for another property I have in another city'' However, suspicious, I went and looked up foreclosure listings and found that my address is listed to be sold at the court house on tuesday (it is currently friday). What can I do in this situation?

There is likely nothing you can do as far as a foreclosure. You might have deal with the buyer at the sale, who might want you out eventually. You will most likely hear from them at some point, but you would be wise to look for options if you do have to move.
