Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I am a homeowner in the state of Georgia,in july of 2008 a friend @ the time moved in with me and has only paid 5 mos rent with no rent the first 6 and now no rent the last 3.There was never a lease or contract signed and things have gotten very unfriendly here she will not move out and says she has contacted legal aid and has 3 more mos to go,What actions or next step must I take to get her out of here.Thank you for any help you can advise.

If the agreement was that she must pay rent and is failing to do so, you may demand possession of the property and then file a dispossessory action if she does not vacate by that date. If it is unclear whether she is obligated to pay rent, you will have to provide at least 60 days' notice.
