You can continue to comply with your obligations under the lease. "Trying" to breach the lease is not the same as breaching the lease. If and when the owner or manager actually take steps to have you evicted, you can defend the case. Obviously, the foreclosure may be an issue but until there is an actual foreclosure and the new owner (probably the lender) gets in touch with you, you keep paying your rent and complying with the lease. On the other hand, since there are obviously issues, you might discuss a settlement with the landlord whereby you agree to move at a certain date with no other obligations under the lease. Any agreement must be in writing, and in the long term it is worth it to you to pay a lawyer for an hour or two of time and avoid issues later.
