Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

The landlord charged us $1000 for bed bugs treatment. The invoice from bedbugs treatment shows that only $400 are charged for treating our house and the remaining amount is towards the precautionary treatment for neighboring two houses. It is not mentioned in lease that if such problem arises, resident is responsible for neighboring houses. I want to know what happens if we don't pay the amount and leave the house.

It would be a factual determination whether the remaining $600 is a proper expenditure, although it sounds like it is not if it benefits the neighboring properties.
