Landlord/ rental lease

I contacted my landlord this morning to explain that I need out of my lease but was willing to buy my way out! He said ok and he would call me back with the amount well hours later he calls me and tells me that he can not let me out of my lease not even if I pay! now this morning he told me had let people. then the next time he talks to me he says he cant do it because his legal lawyer would not like it, Can he do this and is there a way to keep it from getting into court and all IF I have to move?

You said nothing about the most important item - your lease, and if it says something about early termination. Otherwise, if you move and breach the lease you face an action for damages. To answer your question of "can he do this," of course he can require and expect you to comply with the agreement you signed.
