im a tenant and my lease is up june 30, we decided to live our secruity deposit for the month of june because we receveived a letter stating that the property is pending forclosure. when i sent my landlord a notirize letter stating to live the secruity she got upset and send us a letter stating that we have 3 days to leave her property or we will be evicted. we gave her a sixty day notice that we were moving. what can we do were already moving the 30th of june.

You fail to mention the terms of your lease regarding these issues but rarely will a lease allow a security deposit to be used as the last month's rent. The deposit is, in part, to cover damages when you move. Why not simply honor the agreement you made?? As for what the landlord can do, that question might be answered when you check your credit report later, try to rent an apartment, or get a lawsuit. Apartment owners, in general, are very active in pursuing thse things. Honor the agreement you made. A foreclosure notice that obviously is not going to affect you is not an excuse.
