Recently, my computer and several other devices were severely damaged due to faulty electrical wiring in my apartment. Is my landlord responsible for the damages?

Assuming it was clearly established to be faulty wiring of the landlord's property, the landlord might be liable. Something like a power surge or lightening would probably be different.
