Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

How to get out of a lease when you feel you were misleadk

I signed a lease @an apartment complex that was for college students. And they put 18 yr olds with 23yr old that is not a college student,we were told they would match profiles and keep them with their age group? Can we get out of this lease?I am 18 i signed my mother signed as guarator. What would happen or is their anything we can do?When we went to meet the other roommate we noticed she had several alchaol bottles that were half empty.I think this could be problems with the age & her partying. What can i do? We feel they didnot do a roommate match because this girl has lived there 2 yrs.And they just put me and my friend in there to complete the 3 brs

Your lease sets the terms of your agreement and their agreement. What does it say about the age issue? Does it prohibit alcohol? It appears as though you chose a situation where you could not pick your own roomates, so you have to live with the agreement (ie, the lease).
