lease options
due to economic factors my business is down 70%. I'm trying to negotiate to move to a smaller space, but landlord will not accept...long time tennant...have to remove overhead or will force me out of business..can i break standard Georgia lease?

Yes, you can break, or breach a contract. You will then be liable for damages.

There is no such thing as a standard Georgia lease. As such, the specific terms of the lease itself will control, and it is doubtful that they will give you the right to terminate the lease due to decreased business. You will either have to negotiate with the landlord or simply breach the lease and deal with the consequences.
