Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I live in an apartment complex which had a sewage leak and water leaked all over my bedroom floor which is carpet. I asked them to remove the carpet because of mildew because of my allergies. They wont do anything, am I obligated to pay rent?

Why are you staying there??? It appears that you have been constructively evicted. Leave and find a better place ASAP - your health is more important - you can think about suing later
