Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
I have lived in my home for more than 6 months and now my landlord has said that since I am a female I can no longer have guest of the opposite sex. He said he is a "christian" and he doesnt allow his homes to be run that way. He also in the same breath used the terms "not runnin' no cathouse". My question is, is this legal?

Your response should simply be to politely tell the landlord that you are complying with the terms of the lease both of you agreed to and expect him to do the same. Of course, that assume your lease does not prohibit or limit visitors. He can certainly try to limit visitors in future leases (to some extent) but he likely won't get tenants. If he escalates the issue after that, post again and provide more details about your lease, whether you live in a house or apartment, in his house, etc.
