Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
When I moved from my current apartment to another one (smaller) within the same complex, my landlord handed me a bill for replacing the carpet in the entire apartment citing damage in the living room. When I asked as to why I was not notified before the carpet was replaced (which was old when I moved in a year before), the landlord claimed that they have sent me a letter (never received such a letter).
