Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
I moved into a trailor about a year ago, in Tifton, GA and in the 2 kids bedrooms the paint is coming off. I have been asking for the paint and supplies to paint it or he needs to hire a painter but he keeps putting it off. But now my baby is crawling and he got a piece of the paint in his mouth and tried to swallow it he could have choked. Isn't it the law that my landlord has to get the rooms painted because it is a hazardous situation?

It is generally true that the landlord is responsible for repairs. However, each case needs to be examined separately. Consult with a local attorney.
