Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Even though we have paid our rent on time for more than a year, as well as the water and gas bills which the landlord insisted in keeping in their names, our landlords said they want us to move & have given us just 30 days, as of Sept. 1, 2011. In order to rush us out, yesterday they had the gas turned off. What are our legal rights & how do we get help?

Gather all of your pertinent documents (rent and utility receipts, lease) and employ a lawyer to review them. If you are financially able to do that, Atlanta Legal Aid may be able to provide some guidance.
