Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Property damage

My apartment has been leaking when it rains for a couple of months now in my bathroom, laundry room, and in my guest room. My landlord has finally sent someone to fix the leak a couple of days ago. But my dryer is no longer working becasue the water from the roof has gotten into my dryer and messed up my heating element. Is my landlord responsible for the property damage to my dryer?
