Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
real estate
I signed a one year lease agreement on the home I live in. I got a letter in the mail from the owners mortgage company that the home is about to be foreclosed. My landlord has not told me .. What are my options ? I dont trust the landlord . I have only lived here since August 5 2008.

No one here can guess what will happen with the foreclosure, but the wise thing for you to do is to be prepared to move if it does take place. You'll likley get notice from the new owner if there is a foreclosure. However, that does not mean you just pack up and go now as many times the current owner resolves the issue with the lender, and you have then breached your lease.
