release from a lease

i am currently living in a 2 bedroom apartment, walk-in level. i am not happy with the place! when i signed the lease,in stated that i would use thier service provider (gas). i currently owe the same gas company $700. they will not let me use another provider for which i can't shower, cook or warm the place.i also have 2 chldren and diabetes. i also have put in 3 complaints about the roaches and pest control has come but not resolve the problem, the place is also moldly under the bathroom sinks and the water is cloudly. i need advice, help, whatever you can offer being relese fro my lease without penatly. i have currently not paid for oct. rent and also being eviction, for which i have a chance to speak with a judge. please help me. thank you so much

I can't offer much help. I would need to see the lease and get more terms of the situation in order to help. Since you haven't paid Octobers rent you will likely be in front of the Judge shortly so try to document everything you have said, with pictures if you have them.
