I need to know what rights I have with the following circumstance:

I am the only person named on the lease. In March 2009 I asked the former boyfriend to leave the residence by June 1, 2009. He agreed. Now he's saying I cant put him and that I dont know the law. Is that true? can I put him out

Assuming he is your tenant and you are the sub-landlord, than yes. You can evict him. Depending on the circumstances, you may have to provide him 60 days' notice to vacate.
