Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
I am considering renting the extra room in my home. Do I have to give advance notice of eviction in the event I feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or my home becomes infested with bugs due to uncleanliness of tenant? What are the rights of a homeowner/landlord when renting a room? Are there legal differences between this arrangment and a regular Tenant-Landlord arrangement?

All residential tenancies are treated the same subject to lease terms (and a few statutory exceptions). Unless the tenant violates some specific term of the lease agreement, even if it is only a verbal one, you may terminate the lease due to such breach. However, if not, you will have to provide advance notice of 60 days if there is no length of lease term.
