Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
We are renting a house. We had a pipe bust in the front yard. It took the land lord a full day to have someone out here. It took the company another day to fix the broken pipe. I have two children 2&4 it was very hard to be without water for 2 days! The land lord had told me that he had a leak in the same pipe and had it repaired but not replaced! He got it fixed but are we responsible for the water bill? I have no problem paying for the normal portion but we are struggling as it is a new married couple with 2 small kids and I not able to find a job! Just wondering if we are responsible for the water bill or landlord

No one here has your lease. You should, and you will likely find the answer of who is responsible for the water bill. We also do not know how much your water bill will change because of the situation. Presumably, the water was turned off after the pipe burst and was off for 2 days. Your water bill may go down. Other than the unknowns, things like this come with living in a house.
