Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
I have been rentingto own a mobile home for 2 years now. June 5 2012 it was struck by lightening and I have been without hot water, stove, air conditioning since. Insurance is includeded in my rent that I pay every month to my landlord but they are refusing to pay for the damages caused by lightening. The insurance is in their name meaning the check will come to them directly so shouldnt they be accountable to fix the damages?

You have your lease and you should have the insurance information. We have neither, and you chose to not tell us what kind of insurance and what is covered (or what is supposed to be covered) and who is responsible for what under the lease or other documents. A guess won't help you much. Read the documents.
