Please Help Me Respond to a Court summon

Hello. I was served last month to appear for a landlord/tenant collection dispute. I got charged for 1month rent even though I turned the key in on the 2nd of the month.. I have to repay the concession and to repair a wall paper dat was damaged when I moved in. The move in inspection was not signed because they never had enough people to come down n walk thru with me. Please assist me.. thank you

No one here has your lease, and you don't mention what it says. Most will provide that they terminate at the end of the month anf thus staying over even one day means an extra month. Read the lease.
