Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
Satellite Dish Location
I moved into a complex in 2000 that provided free cable. Less than 1 year after moving in, the cable was no longer provided and I went out and got a satellite dish. When I renewed my lease, there was nothing stating the restricted locations of satellite dish. I have had my satellite dish in front of my apartment for over 1 year, and suddenly the management takes the dish and says it is not in the right location. There in nowhere else near my apartment that will allow for satellite reception other than where I had it. My problem is: Did the complex illegally take my satellite dish?

Re: Satellite Dish Location
Assuming the dish was your property, they had no right to abscond with it. There only legitimate claim would be to try to get you ordered to take it down, but that's it.
