Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia
My son is paying me $400 a month for a bedroom in my house. There is no written contract. I recently found illegal drugs in the house and in his room. I threw them away. He told me I could not legally enter his room or throw out his belongings. I asked him to leave and he said he would not for 2 months. What are my rights?

Unless he violated a specific term of the lease (whether verbal or written), you would have to provide at least 60 days' notice before starting the eviction process.
