Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I have a storage unit in Atlanta and live in New Orleans. Public Storage called me and said that my lock had been cut off along with 16 other units. I asked for them to take a picture of the unit and send to me as well as asking for the police and incident report. I was told they didn't make a police report and that the regional manger would have to approve my receiving the report. He will not return my call. They are pushing me to make a claim on my insurance and I feel something is fishy and it was as inside job. Can I hold them responsible?

Depends on the terms of your rental agreement. What does it say? Is there a waiver of liability or "exculpation" section? Provide more info and you may receive a more complete answer.
