Where is the mention of a lease or terms? If you have a lease, comply with your agreement. Many people get foreclosure notices and work it out. Then you get evicted for not paying rent. If you have to move, or get notice it was sold at foreclosure, obviously you won't pay rent after that unless the new owner lets you stay. You will certainly want to have a plan for that happening, but that does not mean you breach your agreement now. I am not sure why you asked about the rent increase. We don't know what your lease or agreement provides.
