Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Terminating a lease

A good opportunity was presented for a house. I purchased the house and provided a 30 day notice before I moved out. I'm now presented with a collection notice. Isn't there releases when changes in life occur?

I am not sure what you think a lease is. Read it, and see what you agreed to do.

In other words, no, unless the lease terms allow you to terminate the lease if you buy a house, which would be very unusual.
